TODAY IS MY BIRTHDAY!!! And I started my birthday with a pre-birthday afternoon tea at the Four Seasons Hotel in London with a lovely friend of mine. This was my first afternoon tea experience and it was absolutely luxuries and delicious. We arrived at The Four Seasons on Park Lane in London in the afternoon where we got invited in to the beautiful afternoon tea room where we received a tea card with 60 different teas to choose between. I choose the green tea with ginger and lemon and a glass of champagne. Then we got served a beautiful arrangement of three plates; one with four different sandwiches, and two plates with cakes - and all lactose-free as I am lactose-intolerant. The sandwiches and cakes looked so beautiful and tasted delicious as well. Furthermore we got served scones and different jams. The whole afternoon tea experience was exquisite and the service was amazing too! This was a perfect way to make a day more special and celebrate my pre-birthday!
