My name is Miki Davis and I’m currently finishing a graphic and jewellery design degree and also work as a model. I’m a curious girl with a wandering mind who loves to travel. I believe that with a strong work ethic and healthy mentality, anything is possible.

What is your relation to this city?
I was born here and feel very lucky to have lived in this beautiful city for the past ten years.

Best experience?
I can’t really pinpoint one... My morning routine consists of waking up early and walking down to the beach for a swim in the ocean. I’d have to say that’s probably one of my favourite experiences. It’s the best way to start the day.

Weirdest experience?
When I first moved back to Sydney in 2008 I wanted to learn how to surf. One morning I fell off my board at Bondi Beach and got a fin chop straight through my neck.

Your top 3 hangout spots?
"Gordons Bay", "Harry’s Café" in Bondi and Bronte Beach.

Favourite restaurants?
"Caffe Roma" and "Raw Bar".


Best date place?
I would probably have to say "Caffe Roma". It’s a really cute, intimate setting and the gnocchi is to die for.

Best Sunday spot?
"Watson’s Bay Hotel".

If you were to live in another place, where would that be and why?
Paris! I think the city is beautiful and full of life. I also really want to learn French.

Where is your escape place from this city?
"The Blue Mountains" is a great city getaway. It’s a short drive from Sydney and the views are breathtaking.

Best 5 local advices?
1. Go to the "Moonlight Cinema" and watch a movie under the stars.
2. Drive to "Botany Bay National Park" and bush walk until you reach Congwong Beach.
3. Get a cocktail or two at "Opera Bar".
4. Try a burger from "Out of the Blue".
5. Take a picnic and bottle of rosé to Hermitage Beach at sunset.
