I have arrived in Thailand, which is my first time here. I am very excited about my stay here were I will be traveling around Thailand for 10 days.
After a 15 hours flight journey from London, I have arrived to the stunning Anantara Mai Khao Phuket Villas.
This Anantara Resort consists of 86 private villas, 2 restaurants, a spa, a tea room, a wine tasting room, and a beach bar and pool area. There is much more than needed, so it is highly luxurious and everything is executed to a top level.
How you will get around at this resort is with a driver in small cute electronic cars or you have the option to lend a bike from one of their many bike stations.
The surroundings are green and colorful. There are small lakes with flowers and green trees and plants all over. The lotus flower is also visible at the Mai Khao resort and the stunning pink flower is incorporated in many facilities; when you arrive, the lotus flower is next to your welcome non-alcoholic tea drink, at the spa, at the restaurants and in your villa. The flower is a symbol of purity and beauty, which the hotel is indeed.
Spa: The resort has a beautiful spa offering all different face and body treatments. I tried one of the Anantara's signature spa treatments which were a bamboo massage. I have never explore this before, but I tell you, it's incredible. I received a 90 min. full body massage, where the therapist where massaging me with heated bamboo sticks and oil. This is definitely something I can recommend you to try!
Tasting: Mai Khao Phuket Villas has two restaurants; a thai cuisine restaurant called La Sala, and a seafood restaurant called Sea Fire Salt. I had the opportunity to explore both of them, and they were both delicious. I am a huge fan of thai food, so La Sala is my favourite.
This place is highly luxurious and with a sense of indulgence. The dinning experiences are sublime and the service is fantastic. The staff is there to make sure you get your stay as perfect as possible!
