A Local's Guide to Mykonos, Greece

Describe who you are in 3 sentences:
My name is Dalia Moustafa and I work for BXR London, currently Heading Sales and Member Relations after helping with the set upback in January 2017. I am working on my own business which is advisory within the Health and Fitness sector and my goal is to set up my own retreat across Europe and the Middle East. I shed light and make the most of any situation I am in. I always say, LOVE THE LIFE YOU LIVE or make the changes necessary to get you as close as possible! ASAP!

What is your relation to this city?
I first visited Mykonos as a graduation trip from high school and have been going back every summer since. I was attracted to its variety of both town and beach as well as the endless offerings of restaurants, beaches and shopping.

Best experience?
Spending the day with friends on the boat visiting the neighbouring islands (Paros and anti Paros) then coming back to exploring the small roads of Mykonos town by quad bike.

Weirdest experience?
Go karting in the middle of the island next to the sea! Awesome scenic views with the rush of the speed from karting!

Your top 3 hangout spots?
- Fokos beach to swim (the taverna is worth the visit although a private and quiet beach to visit)
- Santa Marina Hotel to tan and swim.
- Caprice Sea Satin Market for sunset.

Favourite restaurants?
- Interni (fun vibe with great food and music)
- Nobu (great for Apéritifs)
- Spillia (amazing lunch spot for fresh fish)
- Hippie Fish (lunch and happy hour, swim and sunset)

Best date place?
- Katarina’s

Best Sunday spot?
- Scorpios is the Sunday island spot!

If you were to live in another place, where would that be and why?
I would live in LA, although far from London it is the type of lifestyle I love!

Where is your escape place from this city?
My escape is Paros, a smaller island which has an array of local restaurants and island shops.

Best 5 local advices?
1. Get the guacamole in Scorpios!
2. Get the Grilled octopus in Spillia!
3. Have a dance at Moni bar.
4. Grab a drink in little Venice at sunset.
5. Go GO Karting at Raceland.
6. Spend the day in Santa Marina for a good swim and sun bed set up!
