A Local's Guide to London, England

Describe who you are in 3 sentences:
My name is Emilie, I love to travel and explore new places (especially if there’s a pool or a beach). I find peace and joy in my family, and doing nothing with them. My father has always taught me to accept the things that are out of my control and always do the best I can to get a positive outcome of every situation.

What is your relation to this city?
I moved here in 2014 for my career as a professional show jumper. Not long after moving here, I met my husband who I married in February 2017 and we now live in London with our 17 month old daughter who will soon be getting a little sister. I’ve recently opened a Cryo + Wellness Clinic in Notting Hill called Apogii Clinic, which is where I spend most of time during the week.

Best experience?
Going to a John Mayer concert and arriving at the o2 Arena by boat along the River Thames.

Weirdest experience?
When Paris Hilton visited 'Apogii Clinic' - she’s super sweet but crazy…

LA – I love the culture, diversity, lifestyle and weather… my daughter’s name is California.

Where is your escape place from this city?
We sometimes go to "Soho Farmhouse" or "Cliveden House" for a weekend getaway
